A significant luxury property transaction has taken place in Hong Kong's prestigious Peak district. Sun Hung Kai Properties (0016) recently sold House 5 in its luxury residential project, Twelve Peaks, located on Mount Kellett Road. The house was sold via tender for HK$352 million, with a record-breaking price of HK$80,752 per square foot.

The sold property boasts a usable area of 4,359 square feet and features a four-bedroom layout with a study. It comes with a private garden spanning 1,821 square feet, a rooftop terrace of 843 square feet, and an exclusive swimming pool. This marks the first new sale in the project in nearly seven years, with the last transaction recorded in November 2018.

Twelve Peaks consists of only 12 standalone villas, each offering privacy and luxury. The development also features a residents’ clubhouse and is conveniently located near The Peak Galleria. Completed in 2012 by Sun Hung Kai Properties (0016), the project previously set a record in 2018 when one of its villas sold for HK$730 million, or HK$152,000 per square foot, making it the most expensive villa in Asia at the time.
